A day-long presentation by Karen Childress, a writer and speaker on green building and green home topics sharing the experience she has gained as a leader in the green building movement in Florida. For the past seven years she served as Environmental Stewardship Manager for WCI Communities, a major developer-home builder based in Florida. During this time WCI built more certified green homes than all other builders in Florida combined.

In addition, a roundtable discussion will occur during lunch (provided), with Rick Koehnemann of Koehnemann Construction, Julius Poston of StalwartBuilt Homes, Rick Dye of Regions Bank, and a representative from the St. Joe Company.

Bruce White will also present Sky, a 571 acre development in Calhoun County. He will discuss implementation of the latest in energy efficiency technology using the most advanced systems for protecting the environment.
